Her climb continued as Front Office Manager, demonstrating exceptional leadership managing front desk operations and guest services, winning her consecutive Leader of the Quarter awards.
The year 2024 marked a milestone as Amber received the HHG Select Service Hotels Rooms Division Leader of the Year award after helping guide the team to finish in the top 7% of all Courtyard Hotels in North America for “Intent to Recommend”. Her most significant achievement yet is her promotion to HR/Accounting Manager at HHG's AC Hotel Waco Downtown within just two years, making every role a steppingstone in her remarkable career journey.

Hotel Manager
John Barros began with HHG in 2014, at Biltmore Hotel & Suites, initially as a front desk agent, then a supervisor. Between 2017-2020, he juggled roles at Hyatt Place Downtown San Jose and Biltmore, demonstrating versatility as a host, bartender, and administrative assistant.
In 2019, John continued to hone his hospitality skills, juggling multiple rolls including Banquet Bartender at Biltmore, a full-time Bartender at Hyatt Place Downtown San Jose, while also serving as an Executive Assistant at the San Jose Convention Center.
Returning to HHG in 2021, John impressed as Delta Hotels Santa Clara's Bartender, driving guest satisfaction through personable service and by cultivating delicious craft cocktails . In 2024, his journey culminated in his promotion to Operations Manager. John's strong leadership, integrity, dedication, passion for creating exceptional guest experiences, and commitment to excellence earned him yet another promotion in September 2025 to Hotel Manager.
